Effective: April 5, 2026
By accessing or using FlightKit (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FlightKit.
FlightKit is a progressive web application (PWA) that provides supplemental aviation study tools, weather briefing, preflight calculators, AI-assisted Q&A, and checkride preparation resources for student and certificated pilots. FlightKit is not an FAA-approved training course, ground school, or flight training device.
CRITICAL SAFETY NOTICE: FlightKit is a supplemental training and reference tool. It does not replace:
You must independently verify all V-speeds, weight & balance limits, performance data, weather interpretations, regulatory references, and airspace information against official, current sources before making any flight decision.
FlightKit uses large language models (LLMs) to power features including Ask FlightKit, oral exam practice, and content generation. AI-generated content:
Treat all AI outputs as starting points for further study, not as authoritative sources.
FlightKit displays V-speeds, weight & balance limits, fuel capacities, and performance data sourced from manufacturer Pilot Operating Handbooks. This data is provided for quick reference and study purposes only. It may not reflect the latest revisions, supplements, or STCs applicable to your specific aircraft serial number. The pilot-in-command must always reference the current, FAA-approved POH/AFM aboard the aircraft for any operational decision.
Weight & balance, takeoff/landing distance, density altitude, crosswind components, and other calculations are approximations based on general interpolation of POH chart data. They may not account for all variables affecting aircraft performance (runway condition, slope, grass vs. paved, non-standard atmospheric conditions, aircraft-specific modifications, etc.). Always cross-check against the specific charts in your aircraft's POH/AFM.
Weather data displayed in FlightKit (METARs, TAFs, forecasts, cloud base diagrams) is sourced from third-party providers including aviationweather.gov and Open-Meteo. This data is provided for situational awareness and training purposes. It may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. FlightKit weather displays do not constitute an official weather briefing under 14 CFR §91.103. Pilots must obtain a proper weather briefing from an approved source (1800wxbrief.com, Leidos FSS, or equivalent) before each flight.

All original content, code, design, and branding of FlightKit is owned by FlightKit and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. FAA publications referenced herein (FARs, AIM, ACS, PHAK, AFH) are U.S. government works in the public domain. Aircraft performance data is sourced from manufacturer POHs and is provided for educational reference purposes only. Aircraft model names (e.g., Warrior, Seminole, Archer, Skyhawk) are registered trademarks of their respective manufacturers. FlightKit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any aircraft manufacturer.
FlightKit offers optional paid features, including AI credits, purchased through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: FlightKit, its owners, developers, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of data, or loss of revenue — arising from:
YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE that aviation is inherently dangerous, that the pilot-in-command bears sole responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight under 14 CFR §91.3, and that FlightKit is a study aid — not a safety system.
By using FlightKit, you acknowledge that you understand the inherent risks of aviation activities. You assume full responsibility for verifying all information obtained through FlightKit before applying it to real-world flight operations. You agree to hold harmless FlightKit and its operators from any claims arising from your use of the application.
FlightKit is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FlightKit, its owners, developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Your continued use of FlightKit after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with any changes, you must discontinue use.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Greene County, Missouri.
